The Redneck Riviera Chapter are hosting our 3rd Closet Swap!! When: Saturday, April 13th 3-5pm Where: Vita di Luci in Villagio 13700 Perdido Key Dr. Suite 146 Mary Kay Montroy has been gracious enough to donate this space for us this year and it is beautiful!!! We, wacky and wonderful women know how it goes. You have a closet full of clothes but can’t ever seem to find anything to wear. Before you hit the mall and spend a lot of money, use that money to benefit a wonderful local non-profit group and get some new fun items for your closet! A mere $20 suggested donation at the door will go directly to the WWW’s fund for Making Waves to Wipe Out Ovarian Cancer! OUR GOAL IS $1000! Spread the Word ~ Its Easy and Here’s How it Works: 1. Bring as many items as you want. This can include clothes, shoes, belts, hats, purses, formals and jewelry. (No lingerie please). 2. Include only nice looking clothing. (No repairs needed please). 3. Make sure the garments are washed, pressed (if needed) and on hangers. 4. We will sort the clothes into categories, i.e. dresses, shirts, sweaters, etc. 5. Everyone will drop off their clothes from 3:00-4:00 and enjoy Wine & Cheese while clothes are being organized. No clothes accepted after 4:00. The Free Shop Swap starts at 4:00 pm! 6. Whatever is left over will be donated to Mary's Shelter. |

Rachel McLarty will be the host for WWW Wednesday on March 27th at Flora Bama. Rhonda and Elaine will be playing their beautiful music along with a special guest. Rachel has a very fun evening planned with race registration discounts, door prizes and a couple of items for silent auction. The Power of Teal – Wacky Women kick off 5thyear! By Jimmie Sue Walters The Wonderful Wacky Women celebrate their 5thyear as a non-profit. Time flies when you are having fun and making a difference. In four years, the organization has donated over $100,000 in the fight against cancer as well, as ensure many women are aware of the signs and symptoms of ovarian cancer. We thank each of you for your involvement in helping us make this happen. The power of teal will take over this September as we Make Waves to Wipe out Ovarian Cancer. Mark your calendars for September 28, 2013. Go ahead and start planning your wacky costume, wacky glasses and crazy hair. Remember, it’s not just about the event but the entire week of activities leading up to the race. Stay tune for the activities planned. What better way to celebrate a 40thbirthday party! Michelle Fulford hosted her Beach ‘in Birthday Bash on January 12. But in the spirit of her celebration and in lieu of presents, she chose to host a Silent Auction and ask her guests to donate to the Wonderful Wacky Women Ovarian Cancer fund. Michelle recognizes the urgent need to make women aware of ovarian cancer and hopefully, end it forever! We invite you to join us for a special evening at the Flora-Bama as we kick-off 2013 with Michelle doing her presentation of funds. Terry Ivey, 2012 Goddess will be passing on the crown to our 2013 Goddess.
