SILENT AUCTION General Auction Rules and Information

1.       Silent Auction will be closed by 12:45 p.m. on Saturday,, September 28, 2013

2.       All sales are final, and no exchanges or refunds are possible.

3.       All items are sold  as is,  and RRWWW  is not responsible for the correct description or

authenticity of any item.

4.       All values quoted are estimates only and are not warranted by the RRWWW for purposes of

valuation or tax consequences of purchases.

5.       All items purchased are to be used by the date specified, if any.

6.       All gift certificates, certificates for services and passes are sold on the understanding that the

donor and purchaser will work out a mutually agreeable collection time within the

limitation set forth in the donation.  It is the responsibility of the winner to make contact with the donor.

7.       Payment for all auction items shall be made by cash or check  or by

check.  Checks should be made out to Wonderful Wacky Women.

8.       When using restaurant gift certificates, call for reservations.  Tax, gratuity and alcoholic

beverages are generally not included unless indicated otherwise on the gift certificate.

9.       All statements of value appearing in the catalog have been furnished by the donors or

estimated by the Auction Committee.

10.     In determining the tax deductibility of items purchased at the Auction, IRS rulings state that

no deduction is allowable except to the extent that the taxpayer can show that his or her payment exceeded the fair market value at retail of the item or service received.

Proceeds from the 2013 Silent Auction and Ovarian Bucket Table will benefit Sacred Heart Cancer Center - Mobile, Al and USA Mitchell Cancer Institute in Mobile, AL.
